Elizabeth Smart

I am very happy that Elizabeth Smart was found 9 months after being kidnapped from her home. I am very happy that she has managed to move on with her life after such a traumatic experience. I am very happy for her.
In fact the whole Elizabeth Smart thing convinces me that the smartest thing I ever did was create the F.A.S.T. (Female alternative street tactics) program, teaching woman all they should know about remaining safe, and protecting herself from predators, kidnappers, molesters, and more.
When I created the F.A.S.T. program in 1983 the intention was to teach women how not to get kidnapped, how not to get assaulted, how not to be molested.
Had the Smart family enrolled Elizabeth Smart in my program she would've known what to do in the event someone was trying to take her away, and maybe she would've never been kidnapped. Her sister who was in the same room watched and didn't know what to do. How safe was their home? Did they know anything about security? Did the Smarts teach their children about strangers, and what to do in the event something would happen? Elizabeth Smart was with her kidnappers for 9 months, and it's not like she escaped. She was found. I wonder how many opportunities she had for escape. She couldn't escape because she was not prepared for something like this. Prepartation is the "KEY".
The F.A.S.T. program prepares a woman for all kinds of attacks. Not only giving women street smarts, but also giving them quick and efficient self defense moves that can possibly save their lives.
