SECURE YOUR CHILD PROGRAM


The "Secure Your Child" (S.Y.C.) has been educating and empowering children in the New York Metropolitan area with "street awareness" and "self-protection" classes for over 2 decades. These classes facilitate an active and fun learning environment which includes "kidnapping prevention techniques", "stranger awareness", "being lost", "what to do and where to go for help if followed", "bully prevention", and "staying home alone".

S.Y.C. teaches our children about the realities of the world in a constructive and positive manner.
S.Y.C. teaches our children in a positive way without unduly scaring or traumatizing the child.
S.Y.C. program has been specifically designed to teach children about topics such as to what to do if they are lost, right and wrong touching, and much more.
S.Y.C. plays games such as “The Description game” to help children sharpen their memory skills. It also makes it easier for the children to give better descriptions of a possible attacker.
S.Y.C. teaches children how to physically and verbally defend themselves.
S.Y.C. teaches children how to protect themselves against different forms of attacks and guarantees that every child will learn something that will make a more alert and confident child.
S.Y.C. teaches children practical self defense tactics such defenses against attacks such as, wrist grabs, pulls and pushes, body grabs and more.
S.Y.C. plays “Judo” with the children, which helps children to fight the fear of the ground, which is where 85% of the fights end up at. It also helps in the event that they are thrown or pushed to the ground.
Designed to be interactive and fun, the S.Y.C. program brings life saving information to the ones who need it the most, our children.
The S.Y.C. program is available to groups, schools, and organizations.
